Learn Linux!

This course can be taught in the following languages: English, Armenian, Russian

The hourly cost for this course is: 10 EUR



In this course, the student will learn about the Linux operating system. In particular, the student will learn the most often used Linux administrator commands. The student will learn:


- Bash shell syntax and the important components of this scripting language

- Creating a process

- Changing the content of the running process

- Transfer parameters to a program from the command line

- Functions for working with files and key memory

- PCI - inter process communication capabilities

- Shared memory usage of IPC - inter processes

- IPC - Inter Process communication semaphore capabilities, multi-process collaboration

- Signals list in the Linux operating system and corresponding functions

- Sockets and corresponding functions. Using local and internet sockets for transferring information between independent processes using TCP / UDP protocols


We will use many real-life administrator tasks examples.

Tutor picture

Susanna graduated from Yerevan State University, the faculty of applied mathematics. Susanna has titles of Ph.D. and Associate Professor.


Susanna has a number of years of experience tutoring the fundamentals of Python, programming in the .Net environment, C# programming, Java programming, databases, as well as the Linux operating system. Susanna speaks Armenian, English, and Russian.
